Steve Hoth is the head of the firm’s Tax and Estate Planning Department. His entire legal career has been devoted to dealing with trusts, estate planning and taxation. Mr. Hoth has also been the principal attorney or the principal tax attorney with respect to numerous mergers and acquisitions transactions, including taxable asset and stock purchases and sales and acquisitive transactions utilizing various tax-free reorganization structures and a broad array of business tax matters. Before joining the firm, Mr. Hoth worked as a tax lawyer for several years with a Wall Street firm in New York. He graduated with honors from Stanford University and attended law school at Columbia University where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
