Robert G. Wilson, Jr. heads the firm’s Financial Institutions Department. He is considered by many to be a leading authority in Colorado on credit union law. Currently, he is responsible for the representation of approximately one hundred fifty credit unions located in the State of Colorado and throughout the United States, as well as other credit union organizations. His practice also includes the representation of other financial institutions and businesses on issues involving regulatory matters, electronic banking, commercial law, real estate law, consumer, employment and insurance law. Mr. Wilson was born in Denver, Colorado on February 22, 1951. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree with high distinction from Colorado State University in 1973 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver in 1977. He was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1977 and received the outstanding young lawyer award from the Arapahoe County Bar Association in 1986 and later served as the Association’s president from 1991 to 1992.
